1.Hello, please tell us something about yourself.

Hi.! My self  Dr. Mohammed Sameer Naqvi, i have done my graduation from Karaganda state medical university, Kazakhstan & i have secured 150 marks in fmge December 2018.

2. What do you think is the correct approach to study for FMGE? Only MCQ's or Theory+MCQ's?

I think the best way to prepare is Theory + MCQ ’s. This is how I prepared and it worked for me.

3. When should the preparation ideally be started?

Preparation should ideally be started at the beginning of the 5th year of University . You have to do coching in 4th year summer vacation & make notes. You need to start reading it.

5. Have you attempted FMGE previously? If yes, what did you do different this year that lead to your success.

No. This was my first attempt.

6. How big is the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it?

Revision is key for success.
Dedicate the last 1 months for revision and practice.

7. Did you use a time table/study plan to keep your preparation on track?

Yes. I make time table in night what do to next day. And stick it.

8. List the most difficult and easiest subjects for you.

Difficult:- pharma, micro, anatomy,psychiatry
Easiest:- patho,pedia, optha, ent, obg, psm, forensic, derma, radio

9. One mistake that you believe everyone must avoid while preparing for FMGE

Stop searching and reading new materials. Stick to your notes only. And revise again & again.

10. Last tips for upcoming FMGE aspirants.

Start preparing early for the exam and solve as many Mcq as you can. The more you practice the better will be the result.Identify your weak areas and work on them. Aim for 1 mock tests per week in last month.
